Can you have joint swelling and pain with Influenza type B? - what type of doctor for hand pain

I went to the doctor with fever (102), joint pain, skin rashes, slight, but not congestion, cough and sore throat. He said it was influenza type B. My hands and feet so swollen that I have difficulty taking hold or something, and can hardly able to walk. Please help me, I've never heard of this type of flu to which they have heard no cold symptoms.
